A female staff of the University of Yobe , Hajiya Ummie Adamu Mammam has been shot dead by unknown gunmen in her apartment.
The tragic incident occurred at the residence of the staff who is a non academic staff member of the University, in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night at New Bra-Bra Housing Estate along Gujba bypass road.
Hajiya Ummie, who served as a Faculty Officer at the university, reportedly fell victim to unknown gunmen who invaded her home.
