CBN Staff, Three Others Killed in Abuja Supermarket Robbery Operation
Armed Robbers have killed four persons including a member of staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN during a robbery operation in Abdullahi Supermarket in one man village, yesterday , near Maraba Abuja.
According to report, the CBN staff who was identified through his identified card as Daniel Adefemi Okunade was said to have been shot on the head and he died immediately.
Three other persons who where also guned down could not be identified as at the time of filling this report.
Eye witness account said the robbery operation did not last for more than five minutes.
The CBN staff was said to be a choir member of the Christ Apostolic Church in Abuja.
He was said to have stopped by the supermarket to buy bread for his family members before the unfortunate incident occurred.
The CBN staff was said to have park his Vensa car outside the supermarket to carry out the transaction before the robbers made their way into the everbusy shopping center.
It was gathered that the remains of the CBN staff has since been removed while investigation has commenced.
